Rail Power Systems GmbH (RPS) and F&S PROZESSAUTOMATION GmbH (F&S) have assembled and completed the jointly developed compact charging substation for a charging voltage of AC 15 kV 50 Hz. Essential components, such as the medium-voltage system, the transformer, the auxiliary system and the control technology, were installed at RPS’s location in Mannheim.

The container was then transferred to F&S in Dohna near Dresden and completed there with the converter. At the end of January 2023, the container was ready for transport to Alstom in Salzgitter.
